"Dear Clara, I’m writing to thank you for the renewal of my last surviving porcelain teacup, now sporting veins of gold on its newly functioning handle.
I was a bit nervous to put it to the test by drinking from it, but was surprised at how strong and solid it feels, and how smooth and comfortable to hold."
It feels really special, so I’m keeping it for special teas. As I write I’m enjoying an autumn flush single estate Darjeeling, a real favourite of mine! (As you probably know late-harvest Darjeelings have a golden glow, and the kintsugi matches it perfectly.)
