Need an enjoyable group experience to engage and inspire your team? Or a creative offering for your PR event, conference or works celebration?

I offer a range of interactive kintsugi workshops that can be tailored to your needs.

A heartfelt thank you for delivering

such a thoughtful and meaningful kintsugi workshop.

It’s been so lovely to hear how well it was received by participants and how the session

created space for laughter and connection.

We’re incredibly grateful for the care and skill

you brought to the day.

1.5 hours

Kintsugi Taster

A one and a half hour taster of the Japanese art of kintsugi ceramic repair (max. 4 per day). Participants experience the finishing stages of applying lacquer and metal powder and take home a beautiful piece of kintsugi art.

Clara ran several sold-out workshops during our annual showcase, the largest Japanese Culture event in the South West.

Our guests loved learning from Clara and were delighted with the pieces they mended.

We were so pleased to have such a detailed and calming workshop of kintsugi be a part of the event programme.

We would highly recommend Clara to any company looking for a unique hands-on activity steeped in fascinating tradition, with a knowledgeable craftsperson and excellent teacher!

A little more detail

I've designed these Kintsugi workshops for companies, charities and other organisations seeking to offer their people something genuinely meaningful, whether for team bonding, wellness initiatives, PR events, or work celebrations.

Each session is for 6-12 participants, with options for larger numbers, creating a hands-on, personalised experience. I bring everything to you—whether at your workplace or an external venue—along with expert facilitation and a Japanese tea break for moments of calm and reflection.

Kintsugi isn’t just a craft; it’s a mindful journey. Participants repair ceramics using the Japanese art of Kintsugi, highlighting cracks with traditional lacquer and gold-hued brass powder. Each person creates and takes home their own unique piece, making the experience both personal and lasting.

The atmosphere is relaxed and supportive, encouraging creativity, open conversation, and team bonding. Ideal for teams facing change, seeking connection, or needing a restorative break, these workshops leave participants feeling grounded, inspired, and more connected to themselves and each other—boosting both individual and team wellbeing, collaboration, and productivity.
